Founded in 2016, Autism After 18 creates opportunities for young adults with autism to interact in the community on a social, professional, and educational level.

About Us

We achieve our goals by organizing social gatherings, providing life skills training, and offering vocational education.

Based in Charlotte, N.C., Autism After 18 welcomes participants ages 16 and up. Our organization owes much of its success to donations and volunteers, and we’re always happy to accept assistance in those areas.

Since launching Autism After 18 in 2016, our efforts have helped many young adults acquire important life skills, new friends and employment. We’re equally proud of all three.

Autism After 18’s goal is to continue to fund events allowing adults with autism to attend.

We are asking that each family do one or more of the following:

  • Make an annual donation to help cover the cost of events.
  • Volunteer time at one event per year.
  • Support at least one of our annual fundraisers:
  • Dollar for a Scholar (April) or Halfway to St. Patrick’s (September)
